To kick things off, ska alternative rock band Sublime with Rome will take the stage on July 25. The music group pays homage to the band Sublime, best known for hits like “What I Got” and “Santeria,” which broke up in 1996 after the passing of lead singer and guitarist Bradley Nowell. However, in 2010, the two surviving members, Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh, teamed up with singer and guitarist Rome Ramirez, more popularly known as Rome, to keep the music and good vibes flowing.
Thursday, August 1
Hip-hop icon Lil’ Kim will take the stage on August 1 as part of her comeback tour. The New York rapper, whose real name is Kimberly Denise Jones, rose to fame in the late ‘90s and early 2000s. She’s best known for her hits like “Can’t Hold Us Down” and “Lady Marmalade” feat. Christina Aguilera, P!nk, and Mya, which won the Grammy for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals in 2002.
Thursday, August 8
This year’s Alive At Five will conclude with a performance from Haitian rapper and singer Wyclef Jean. A former member of the hip-hop trio Fugees, Jean has since recorded ten solo albums, including the Carnival trilogy and “Welcome to Haiti: Creole 101.” His single titled “Paper Right,” which debuted earlier this year, features Pusha T, Lola Brooke, Capella Grey, and Flau'jae.
Tickets are currently available through Afton Tickets. A limited supply of General Admission tickets are available for $40 each. Once sold out, the ticket price will increase to $50.

Past performers have included Fitz and The Tantrums, Lil Jon, Shaggy, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Boyz II Men, The Neville Brothers, and Hootie & the Blowfish, among other well-known artists and musicians.
