CT Tech Week is Coming Back to Stamford. Here’s What You Need to Know
Event Series Offers Opportunities Statewide for Tech Innovators to Connect
STAMFORD — After a successful inaugural edition in 2024, CT Tech Week is returning with even more opportunities for tech innovators and entrepreneurs to meet up and discuss the latest in the state’s technology industry.
“CT Tech Week is an opportunity to celebrate the people, ideas, and breakthroughs shaping the future of our state. It is a chance to highlight the entrepreneurial spirit that continues to power a more connected and innovative state,” Marie Rocha, founder of CT Tech Week as well as Realist Lab, a Stamford-based nonprofit startup accelerator, said. “Join us at the many events to connect, learn, participate in the conversations, and be in community with the many changemakers and trailblazers of the state.”
Held from Monday, June 2, to Friday, June 6, the events will cover everything from artificial intelligence and investor pitching to cybersecurity awareness and virtual reality.
CT Tech Week’s website states that it “is a premier gathering for startups, entrepreneurs, investors, educators, government officials, and tech enthusiasts to connect, exchange ideas, and accelerate the growth of Connecticut’s tech ecosystem.”
In addition to the kickoff and other planned events in Stamford, so far, gatherings will also take place in Bridgeport, Greenwich, Norwich, and online.
Stamford has often been dubbed the economic engine of Connecticut in recent years, given the strength and prowess of its business community and workforce among other factors. A large part of the city’s economy is technology. Last summer, a leading credit rating agency, Fitch Ratings, reaffirmed the city’s AAA bond rating, the highest possible rating.
The CT Tech Week website, CTTechWeek.com, also offers several opportunities to get involved, including an option to host an event, sponsor a signature event, or become a venue partner. The full selection of events are available to view here.
