“Deck the Downtown” is Returning for the Holiday Season. Here’s How to Vote for Your Favorites and Win a $100 Gift Card
Stamford Downtown is Getting Festive
STAMFORD — Local restaurants and businesses are getting in the holiday spirit once again with decorations to lighten up the downtown area for the 15th year. This time, more than two dozen retailers are taking part in the window displays.
On Thursday, December 18, the Stamford Downtown Special Services District announced that the “Deck the Downtown” display contest is back with an extensive list of popular eateries and stores around the district being involved.
According to a press release, the 2025 participants include:

For 2025, Stamford Downtown will award a duo of cash prizes worth $700 each with one being given to the Best of Show winner in the restaurant category and another provided to the winner of the retail or service category.
After all votes are counted, the winners will be announced on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. The prize money awarded will go toward permanent spring façade improvements at the winning businesses in collaboration with Stamford Downtown.
The public can pick their top two favorites, one restaurant and one retailer, from now until Wednesday, December 24, at 5:00 pm on the Stamford Downtown website here. One entry is allowed per person.
Everyone who votes will automatically be entered to win a $100 Stamford Downtown Card, a digital gift card that can be redeemed at more than fifty downtown businesses. A winner will be randomly selected and then notified by email.
