Summer Sounds: What to Know About New Concert Series in Mill River Park
Organizers Made the Announcement on Thursday
STAMFORD — When it was announced in December 2024 that the popular Alive At Five music festival would not be returning this summer after 27 years of concerts, many people wondered what, if anything, would take its place. Now, we have an answer.
On Thursday, June 5, organizers formally introduced a new concert series, Summer in the Park, and unveiled the first artists who will hit the stage next month.
According to a Stamford Downtown announcement, the new tradition is a partnership between Hey Stamford!, Mill River Park, Parachute Concerts, Stamford Downtown, and The Karp Family.
Aside from the headliner shows, there will also be separate happy hour nights with live tribute bands, rotating food vendors, and themed bars.
Tickets for all events are available to purchase here. Continue reading for additional information on all of the new summer experiences.
